Wed, 12/10/2016 - 13:51

Building on the phenomenal success of last year’s event – the first of its kind to be held in the Mother City – DrupalCamp Cape Town 2016 is set to reach, involve and inspire an even greater audience than before. Drupal professionals, novices, students and clients alike are excited for the return of what will be an informative day dedicated to one of the world’s most powerful open source content management platforms.

With a community of well over 1 million individuals actively contributing to its code base, Drupal is the platform of choice for many across a wide variety of industry, from government and university to publisher and entertainer  – some high-profile users include The White House, Harvard, the Economist, Fox News, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars.

DrupalCamp Cape Town takes place on Friday 21 October and this year Drupal are proud to announce not one, but two, Keynote Speakers – Michael Schmid, Amazee Group CTO, based in Austin; and Steve Holyer, Agile Fluency™ Coach, based in Zurich. Michael and Steve will bookend a day filled with 12 talks split across two tracks – Frontend, Design and UX; and Sitebuilding, Backend and DevOps.

The event, not only instructive, but also the perfect opportunity to network in an ever-growing Drupal community, will be held at Quirk, 97 Durham Avenue, Salt River, Cape Town, from 8:30am till 17:00 – attendance is free, but space is limited and seats are going fast, so register today http://capetown2016.drupalcamp.co.za/
