Google paying Apple $3 billion to remain the default search engine?

No way? Yes way! Since 2014, Google has been paying Apple $1 billion per year to be the default search engine on iOS. Well, that sum just went up to close to $3 billion per year!

Mobile is raking in all the traffic

Research indicates that 57% of search traffic is now coming from smartphones and tablets. BrightEdge says, “If brands do not track and optimize for both device channels, they are likely to misunderstand the opportunities and threats affecting them.”

Data, data, data! Google's Gary Illyes confirmed that more data will be coming to Google Search Console. We don't have any dates yet, but we are hella excited!
